Join Kelsey and your fellow Camp KK Campers, hiking through moss-filled forests, snowshoeing in a winter wonderland at Hurricane Ridge, and taking dreamy photos shot by Kelsey along the way!
This “done for you” style of adventure allows you to just show up and enjoy! The planning, PRO PHOTOS, most meals, and logistics (and even the snowshoes) are included.

Kelsey has teamed up with Olympic Hiking Co. who will be our local tour operator for the guided hikes!
Our guide(s) are wilderness first aid and rescue certified and have high levels of experience trekking the areas we will be visiting. -
If you need to cancel your spot, payments are non refundable, BUT are fully transferrable to another person. You can transfer it to a friend or someone on the waitlist.
If you are worried about cancellation, I recommend looking into trip insurance to give you peace of mind!

Going with the flow - especially with weather - is the hallmark of a true adventurer!
The Olympic National Park is a rainforest so expect our hike through the rainforest to have … you got it … rain! Bring a rain coat and water repellent pants and we will frolic in the forest like little fairies!
If we have snow at Hurricane Ridge, it will fee like walking through a snow globe! Pure magic!
If we have clear weather then that will be epic too!

Camp KK Campers will be sent a full packing list. However, expect to pack such items like a raincoat, warm layers, rain or snow pants, boots, warm socks, gloves, warm hat and backpack.
Snowshoes and most meals will be provided but you can always pack your favorite snacks!

Camp KK Adventures are meant for women (yes, that includes incredible trans women too)!
There’s something about when feminine energy comes together in adventure and exploration. It’s magical!Please note, we might have a male guide on our trip - but they will be pre approved “cool, respectful and can be one of the ladies” by Kelsey!

But since this trip includes 2 hikes, Campers need to be in moderate physical condition and able to walk for extended periods of time.
Slow hikers are MORE than welcome, but this adventure might be a struggle for you are unable to walk up a hill.

WHAT IS THE LEVEL OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY?
Camp KK Trips are what we call “GRIT-LUXE™” adventures. You will have a beautiful, inclusive, and safe adventure, but there will always be a “gritty” element to help push you out of your comfort zone.
The Grit-O-Meter is the system to help you understand the physical and “gritty” requirements for each Camp KK Trip.
1 Grit Boot = Comfortable hotel accommodations and limited hiking / physical requirements.
5 Grit Boots = Ultimate Grit Needed! We will be hiking up mountains, pooping in the woods, and sleeping in tents.

There will be a 2-mile hike to a waterfall and a moderate snowshoe hike up a mountain. Hotel accommodations and select meals are included. There will be bathrooms, but you may have to find a tree to pee on one of the hikes if nature calls!

That’s why I decided to create Camp KK adventures. To create space and provide an intentional break in the life tornado. Providing a breath. Providing a mental vacation. And most importantly … providing FUN!
For the past 15 years, I have been a professional photographer, specializing in branding photography. I have worked with all walks of women and have heard their stories, but the one thing they ALL have in common is this: they all say … “I’m the leader in my world. I’m the decision maker. I’m the glue that holds it all together. But I also am overwhelmed, I constantly second-guess myself and oftentimes don’t even know who I am!”
That’s why I felt a calling to expand my support and service to the women in my community through adventure and travel with my Camp KK group trips!
Camp KK is for you to come and take intentional time away from the demands of life.
For the burden of planning to be lifted off your shoulders. All you have to do is show up and enjoy! For you to explore nature and meet new friends. And of course … leave with incredible professional photos shot by yours truly that remind you of what an absolute badass you are!
Camp KK is an experience created from my heart and my true passion for exploration, nature, and pushing your comfort zone. So you can come out the other side with a refreshed perspective, a broadened understanding of who you are - not just as a mother, daughter, partner or sister - but as YOU.
